Rules

These rules tell you how to behave yourself in this server. If you break these rules, you may face discipline from the staff.

ADULTS (18+) ONLY IN THIS SERVER. Even if you aren’t subscribed to the nsfw channels. Even if you are going to be 18 in a month. This is non-negotiable. If we find out that you are under 18, it’s an insta-ban.
Be kind and Respectful When interacting with other server members, please act thoughtfully and respectfully. We do not tolerate harassment, bigotry, kinkshaming, politically or religiously motivated attacks, etc. Additionally, do not engage someone in an activity or scenario they are not comfortable with. Consent is important, so if you are unsure, ask first!
Try to Spoiler Potentially Upsetting Topics This isn’t a rule so much as a reminder to be mindful of one another. You are interacting in a group setting, and as such, consider spoilering any discussion involving sensitive subjects, mentions of trauma, common phobia triggers, or… literal spoilers, even. Please put such things in spoilers ||like this||! Furthermore, if someone politely requests you spoiler your message, please do so!
Respect Staff Staff are here to ensure the server runs smoothly and remains enjoyable for all members. We’re open to discussion, not hostility. Please respect our final decisions.
Try Not to DM Roleplay Publicly roleplaying helps foster creativity and helps people become better writers in a dynamic, interconnected environment. As such, we would love it if you’d avoid secret, DM-based roleplay. You’re of course allowed to DM one another, and DM RP isn’t a bannable offense, but we strongly encourage all roleplay to take place visibly within the server, where we can all read and enjoy it!
No Shock Content In accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service, we do not allow images depicting real-life gore, shock porn or animal cruelty. We also ask that if you post anything with loud sounds or flashing lights, please provide a proper epilepsy warning.
Post NSFW in Proper Channels We allow members to post NSFW in the proper channels. Do NOT post NSFW outside these channels. Doing so will have your message deleted, and possible disciplinary action from Staff. These channels are:
- #nsfw-chat - for general chatting about nsfw subjects.
- #⁠nsfw-art-gallery - for posting any nsfw art. ⁠
- #nsfw-art-chat - for discussing the nsfw art. ⁠
- #nsfw-public-rp - for more nsfw public roleplay. ⁠
- #nsfw-rp - for erp or nsfw situations amongst friends.
NSFW Content Code We ask that you keep these rules in mind regarding what NSFW content is and isn’t okay to post.
1. ALLOWED:
  - ADULT CHARACTERS (humans over 18, adult aliens, adult-looking robots)
  - CHARACTERS FROM EXISTING MEDIA (Cartoons, Games, Anime, etc)
2. BANNED:
  - UNDERAGE CHARACTERS (humans under 18, or non-adult aliens)
  - LOLI/SHOTA OCS (anything that looks like a child… no “1000 yr. old ~~dragons~~ aliens”.)
  - NSFW OF YOURSELF
  - BESTIALITY CONTENT (any sexual activity involving non-sapient animals)
3. SITUATIONAL:
  - IRL PORNOGRAPHY
    - We do not mind you sharing the reference photo you used, or porn for the sake of explaining the pose your OC is in, but we don’t want to see your irl spankbank gif collection.
RP Characters We also have rules about what kinds of characters you are allowed to roleplay.
1. ALLOWED:
  - ADULT ORIGINAL CHARACTERS
  - UNDERAGE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS (NO NSFW!)
  - NON-SAPIENT ANIMALS AND MONSTERS (NO NSFW!)
  - ROBOTS AND AI
  - SELF-INSERT CHARACTERS AND SONAS
2. BANNED:
  - REAL PEOPLE (this includes celebrities, v-tubers, and historical figures)
  - CHARACTERS FROM EXISTING MEDIA (Cartoons, games, anime, etc.)
  - ORIGINAL CHARACTERS YOU DON’T OWN (unless given permission.)
Intellectual Property By submitting Characters, Species, World Info, etc., you are agreeing to contribute them to the server canon indefinitely. This is a collaborative project! Everything you create here still belongs to you, but by submitting it for approval, you are giving everyone here permission to use your intellectual property in a respectful manner, and potentially use it in the creation of their own characters and lore. We will never alter, assume, or profit off of your intellectual property without your permission. If you should leave the server for any reason:
- Your characters will simply no longer be interacted with, and will no longer be part of the ongoing story. They will NOT be altered or reassigned to others. However, mentions of your OC(s) may occur for the purpose of wrapping up plotlines, ending relationships offscreen, or cleanly removing your OC(s) from a setting for the convenience of the remaining players. Your OC(s) may remain as a permanent part of another OC’s backstory.,
- Any alien races, species, world locations, historical events, various designs, etc. that you’ve contributed will remain. Basically, this means that any users who have made OCs that are members of your alien race will RETAIN THEIR OCS. Any plotlines or lore that others have created by building upon your own MAY ALSO REMAIN.,
- Unfinished or Finished Roleplays featuring your characters may or may not be voided. This means they will be archived in #⁠rp-archive , but deleted from their original channels. Voided Roleplays are no longer considered canon.
